Summer Day Camp Registration Now Open!
Y Day Camping offers children a quality, outdoor summertime experience that is age-appropriate and focuses on their social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. Camp Hidden Lake and Blanche Price Park Camp is for children completing Kindergarten through 6th grade. Camp runs from 8am-4pm. Before camp care and after camp care is also offered for Camp Hidden Lake and Blanche Price Park Camp.
A typical day will still include a wide range of activities such as:
•Arts & Crafts •Group Games •Outdoor Skills •Archery •Basketball •Storytelling •Volleyball •Nature Activities •Hiking •Athletics •Field Trips •And so much more!
Teen Camp is for students in 7th through 10th grade who are looking for a fun filled summer learning to be a leader. This program runs weekly throughout our camp season. Teen Camp is an opportunity for teens to develop leadership skills, have responsibility, and express creativity. Teen Camp activities will include walking trips, field trips, community service projects, swimming, fitness, arts and crafts, safety and awareness seminars, and career exploration.
Preschool camp is for children ages 3-5. Our Theme Camp is designed with age appropriate activities that revolve around exciting themes for children Included in our weeks of Camp, your child will also have Swim Lessons and Gym Time as well as go on field trips. Please wear sneakers each day! Please provide a bag lunch and drink for your child everyday! A snack will be provided. Children must be potty-trained, pull-ups are not acceptable.

› Celebrity Golf Outing - Thursday, June 20th, 2013
The Y's 5th Annual Celebrity Golf Outing will be held at Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort. This year's event will include celebrity athletes Sean Landeta, Ron Greschner, Chris Kotsopoulos, Darnell Stapleton, Steve Braun, Steve Vickers, Jeff Richardson and more! Registration/Check-In and a continental breakfast will start at 9:30am. Shotgun start at 11am. Dinner, Raffle, and Online Silent auction will begin at 5pm. Afterwards there will be a Celebrity Meet & Greet in the Delaware Room from 7-9pm, admission is free for golfers, $10 per non-golfer at the door.

› Freedom Festival 5K - Thursday, July 4th, 2013
The Pocono Family YMCA will host the American Freedom Festival 5k Run on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Dansbury Park. The race will begin at 9am with registration beginning at 7:30am. Pre-Registrations are being accepted at the YMCA. First 100 registrants will receive a T-shirt. We will have various age divisions for all ages. Awards will be given to the top male and female in each age group and the top overall male and female winners.
