Pocono Family YMCA Piranhas Swim Team
Competitive Swimming Program
The Pocono Family YMCA Piranhas Competitive Age Group Swim Team, operates under the direction of the Pocono Family YMCA.
During the winter season, the Piranhas compete in the Penn Del YMCA Swim League and are home to more than 100 swimmers. In addition to league competition, our athletes participate in USA Swimming meets throughout the year, providing opportunities to compete at the local, regional, and national levels.

Home Meets
Our fall, winter, and spring home meets are held at:
- Lehman Intermediate School Pool – Bushkill, PA
Practice Locations
Practices are held at various local facilities, including:
- East Stroudsburg South High School
- Lehman Intermediate School
- Pocono Mountain High School West
- Pocono Mountain High School East
- Pocono Family YMCA
During the summer season, practices are conducted at the 6-lane, 25-meter Stroudsburg Park Pool.
Registration Fees
A credit card must be kept on file for all participants.
- Ages 9 & Older: $50 annual registration fee
- Ages 8 & Under: $25 annual registration fee

FREE Swim Team Tryout!
Perfect for swimmers ages 6–18 who are interested in competitive swimming.
Minimum Requirement: Swimmers must be able to swim at least 25 yards unassisted.
